FAQ
Welcome to my FAQ. Here are commonly asked questions concerning my art, the purchase of it, commissioning custom pieces, etc. Please go over this before you elect to send me an email and/or message.

Q. If I purchase a commission from you when do I receive it?

A. This is the way I do things:
1) You give me a detailed description of the commission you want.
2) I sketch it out and show you a water marked sketch to approve.
3) I send you a water marked version of the final drawing to approve.
4) Once you are completely satisfied with the final product you need to pay for the commission. You may do so by sending either concealed cash or going to my website to make payments via PayPal. If you're not sure which button applies to your drawing ask and I will let you know.
5) Once payment is received I will mail out your drawing and send you notice of when it was mailed.
6) I would deeply appreciate if once I mail you your drawing if you could send me a message to let me know you got it and that it came in good condition. This is my first time offering commissions out of state (meaning I've never had to mail them) so I just want to make sure everyone is getting their drawing in the best of condition.

Q. Do you take requests?

A. No. I allowed requests for quite sometime and had to deal with a lot of people abusing the fact that they didn't have to pay for drawings. I will not do requests again.

Q. How do you do your drawings?

A. In any medium I happen to feel like doing. As of late most of my drawings have been traditional though. My traditional drawings are currently being done on card stock with Prismacolor, Derwent, and Koh-I-Noor solid lead pencils. I do work with other mediums and will probably post some as well as offer them for commissions.

Q. Can I request a digital commission?

A. Absolutely. Right now all my artwork, no matter the medium, is the same price. So whatever it costs for a traditional drawing full color, it will cost the same as a digital image.

Q. Do I receive the original drawing when I purchase a commission?

A. If it's a traditional drawing yes. I do scan it and keep a copy for my web site and portfolio, but what you receive in the mail is the original hand drawn image.

Q. How long have you been drawing?

A. Since I could hold a pencil. Unfortunately due to a lot of issues in my life I'm just recently getting back into art and trying to rediscover what I lost long ago talent wise.

Q. Do you ship anywhere?

A. Right now only within the US. I may make some exceptions, but I would really rather steer clear of that for awhile. In the past I only did commissions within my state (Illinois) which meant clients could easily drive to my location to receive their drawings so there was never any worry of the image getting damaged. Now that I am doing them throughout the US I want to make sure that shipping wise everything goes alright before I branch out.

Q. Will you ever accept checks?

A. No. My theory is if you have the money in an account to be able to write a check, you could just as easily send me concealed cash. I refuse to deal with fees from bounced checks.

Q. Will you ever accept credit cards?

A. Yes. Right now I have not set up my PayPal to accept credit cards. That's the only reason I'm not currently accepting them.

Q. Do I receive the original drawing if it's a gift, trade, collab, or request?

A. No. In rare instances I will mail gift art out, but I wouldn't count on it.

Q. Is there any way I can purchase the original to my gift, trade, collab, or request?

A. Yes. Check out the commission section of my website to find the section that applies and pay for it as you would a commission. When payment is rendered I will send you the original. Please be sure to ask if I still have that drawing available ahead of time. If it was not originally agreed that this image was to be a commission I may sell it or keep it for my portfolio.

Q. Do you draw nudity?

A. Yes, but usually nothing too terribly graphic.

Q. Would you do a drawing in another medium? How much would it cost?

A.Yes. Check out the price listing on my web site. All drawings are the same price no matter the medium. If a line art drawing by hand cost $15, a digital line art will be the same price. So just check out the listing and be sure when putting in a request to let me know you want it in a specific medium or I will automatically do it traditionally.
